Thank you for your interest in our trophy White-tailed Deer hunts! We are pleased to offer quality, fair chase hunts at affordable prices for awesome Whitetail bucks on our well-managed, exclusive private land leases in North Eastern Wyoming!
We accommodate up to sixteen Whitetail hunters per season on our sprawling private ranch leases. We have been on a quality deer management plan for the past 20 years, harvesting good, mature Whitetail bucks sporting antlers outside the ears or wider, and four points per side or more. Over the past fifteen years, our hunters have enjoyed 100% shooting opportunities, and actual harvest success rates of over 95%, on trophy bucks scoring from 125 to 150 Boone and Crockett points, with the occasional monster buck scoring over 160 B&C points! The mature bucks taken by our hunters are measuring average scores of between 130 and 140 B&C points, and weigh from 180 to 240 lbs!
You can expect to see 50 to 75 deer per day, with 10 to 12 per day being bucks! Over the course of five days of hunting, you will generally see and have shooting opportunities on at least several, true trophy Wyoming Whitetails! We prefer to limit our whitetail hunts to six hunters per week, and we hunt the prime weeks of the November rut for both our archery and rifle hunters. Our beautiful Wyoming ranch leases provide classic habitat and secure haven for Whitetails and Mule Deer alike. The terrain varies from gently rolling hills of ponderosa pine and rim-rock ridges, to oak-brush thickets, basins and creek bottoms, to big open meadows, valleys and agricultural fields of alfalfa, oats and winter wheat. Depending on the chosen hunt dates and the timing of the rut, our hunting methods vary from rattling and calling techniques, still-hunting, glassing and spot-and-stalk, ground blind stands and tree stands for our bow hunters. Again, due to varied hunting situations and our open countryside, shooting opportunities vary from 10 to 30 yards for our bowhunters, and from 10 to 300 yards for our rifle hunters!
Mother Nature’s November weather in Wyoming can vary greatly, and may be anything from dry and mild, with temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s, to snowy and cool, with temperatures in the 30’s and 40’s. To really round out your experience with us, you may combine Merriam’s Turkey and Coyotes with your deer hunt, at no additional charge!
Our November deer hunters enjoy the deluxe accommodations and meals provided for them at the beautiful and spacious, private lodge at one of our private ranch leases, (view @ www.diamondlranch.com). A comfortable, modern room with private wash facilities is furnished per every two hunters. Hearty, family-style breakfast meals are served up hot, before the morning hunt begins. Depending on the hunt activities planned for the day, a sack lunch is available to take into the field, or you may choose to come back to the lodge for a nice, hot lunch break. After an exciting, full day of hunting, you’ll enjoy the warmth of a cozy wood stove fire, and a delicious, all you can eat, home-cooked supper! After a great evening meal, play a game of billiards, darts or cards in the lodge’s recreation area, or simply kick back, relax and watch a good football game on the TV! It’s your hunting vacation, so have a great time!
